We’ve settled in quite nicely here in Naddi, India. It looks like we’ll stay here for a few years. We’re already lining up some tour options with a local, professional trekking guide. Himachal Pradesh (the state we live in) is an amazing area for hiking/trekking, paragliding and fly fishing for trout. Of course, this means that Khon Kaen tours are not available most of the year. However, we will be in Khon Kaen December and January. Isaan tours will be available then!
Our home in Khon Kaen, river front property 3 km from the city center and Toyota van are currently available for rent. With the home and land rental also comes a motorcycle, 3 bicycles, inflatable kayak, golf clubs etc..
Here’s what the house looks like that’s located in the Pimanchon 2 housing estate: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pMfSBxuKE_Y&t=1s
The land at the river can be seen in some of our FaceBook posts: http://facebook.com/kketp
The van is a 2010 Toyota Avanza.

Hi, everyone. We have been living in our new home for nearly 2 weeks. It looks out over a valley and the Himalayan Mountains. We’ll be back to Khon Kaen in July. Until then, pop by and see us here!

Our new home…
Later this year, we will be moving to northern India for 5+ months. Therefore, sightseeing tours will only be available in January and February, 2017.
Katt will still be teaching Thai online, so our move won’t affect current and future students. KKETP wishes all of you a prosperous 2017!
We spent a great day & night at Little Box Hotel in Khon Kaen province, Thailand yesterday!
Earlier this month, Katt provided three tours. The first was for the venerable Sogan Rinpoche and his friend, Tenzin Lama. The second tour was for a very friendly group of Malaysian retirees led by Tan Sin Hoo. The third excursion was an overnight farming tour for the lovely Tove.
Book your tour with Katt soon and remember that she also teaches Thai language and the Isaan dialect.
Sightseeing tours and Thai language lessons are available. Our Khon Kaen forum is open for new registrations. For up to date news about Khon Kaen province and beyond, join us here: http://khonkaenforum.com
Unfortunately, it’s been a dry monsoon season and many farmers around Thailand don’t have enough water for crops. Fortunately, our little farm is on a river. Click here for more info…
Katt recently did two days of tours for American photo jounalist Taylor Weidman. Here’s links to the photoshoots he did while on tour with Katt: http://mashable.com/2015/09/24/transgender-muay-thai-fighter/#GhRJwao36gqS http://www.upworthy.com/meet-the-16-year-old-fashion-designer-whose-sustainable-looks-may-shake-up-the-industry
Katt is still available for Thai/Isaan lessons!
We launched khonkaenforum.com a few months ago and we’re switching to a new server. Hopefully, we’ll be back online very shortly.
First off, we’d like to wish everyone a happy new year! We hope 2015 brings everyone good health and prosperity. We are busy working (and playing) down at the river slowly creating the Isaan Culture Conservation Camp. Hopefully, we’ll see some of you there in the near future. Feel free to say hi to us at http://facebook.com/kketp
As part of our ongoing goal of expanding KKETP and benefiting our community, we are proud to announce the Isaan Culture Conservation Camp. Recently we purchased 2,000 square meters of land on The Chi River just outside of Khon Kaen City. Our aim is to provide hands on Isaan culture learning as well as have a place to have fun and relax. To see our current progress, visit us at http://youtube.com/1skyywalker and http://facebook.com/kketp.
Katt and Alex will be heading out to California on the last day of July and returning to Thailand at the end of August. Therefore, no tours are available in August. Additionally, Katt will not be able to do any face to face Thai language instruction, unless you’re in the San Francisco area. Katt’s online language students will be notified and should be able to continue learning as usual.
Speaking of Alex, check out his new haircut!
